Integrated Approval Process Automation with JBoss BPMS
This session includes how to implement integrated approval process based JBoss BPMS with web portal development. It is also for the first time to propose, demonstrate JBoss BPMS through benchmark test, proof of concepts to a strategic automotive customer, over 1.5M USD in Korea. In this regard, I will talk about value proposition in terms of how JBoss BPMS enables the customer to design their own complex approval process/task and provide enterprise-ready monitoring, role based access control, high performance, fantastic management, security architecture, and so on.
I will also share customer's pain points(e.g. current Oracle based SOA Suite) and how to solve that challenges with our partner, customer development(e.g. UX design).
At last, this is an initiative project to implement mission critical business base open source BPM solution thereby customer has a plan to expand into whole business process on-premise locally, globally which means will be new opportunity for big deal.

Enabling BRMS HA Complex Event Processing with JBoss Data Grid
Architecting and designing a JBoss BRMS highly available Complex Event Processing (CEP) platform has many challenges. Statefulness of the platform, replicating sessions across nodes and/or datacenters, the processing of a continuous stream of possibly correlated events, etc.

In this session we will look at an architecture and design that utilises concepts like event partitioning and event sourcing to realise a highly available CEP engine based on JBoss BRMS and JBoss DataGrid. This work is the result of an initial PoC and project executed at Lottomatica in Italy, one the largest gaming companies in the world.

A demo will be provided that shows the concepts and platform in action.

A Load Generation Framework for CEP Application Testing and Demos
In this Session, I am going to show you a framework that I developed which allows you to:
- Configure individual events in a CSV file to drive a CEP application
- Configure event generation based on event arrival distribution in a CSV file to drive a CEP application
- Perform realtime load generation (eg, for load testing) running multiple instances of the load generator (part of the framework) to feed a CEP application via Fuse and A-MQ integration
- Show you the UML class diagram containing the load testing framework classes, their attributes, operations and relationships. I also describe how the framework works including how the load generator is loosely coupled to your CEP application using the Observer design pattern.
